US-Italy Virtual Robotics Exchange

U.S. Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs -- there's a mouthful -- (ECA) helps to coordinate educational exchanges. In 2016 ECA created a new initiative called The Collaboratory, which is now helping to coordinate a virtual robotics exchange between 3 high schools in the U.S. and one in Pistoia, Italy, an effort tentatively called 1,2,3 STAR by some of the students. Each school will build a robotic telescope as designed by Project PANOPTES, and I'll be serving as a mentor/technical advisor on the effort.
