Envisioning a New Space Age at the MIT Media Lab

Today I'll be attending a conference at MIT that explores the idea of a future in which the maker ethos extends to space, with hackable satellites, etc. I'm particularly interested in the idea of DIY experiments. With SpaceX and others drastically reducing launch costs, perhaps ATMoB members can join forces to create a CubeSat with a camera and radio transmitter.
